Advantages of rivet free joints compared with traditional processes

Compared with traditional processes (welding, viscose, pull riveting), the rivet free connection has the following advantages:

1) Low energy consumption. Rivetless joints do not need to consume raw materials and auxiliary materials, the cost of consumption is only about 50% of spot welding. The cost of traditional technology is high and the consumables are many.

2) Cheap and durable, simple structure, easy to maintain. It costs about the same as traditional equipment. Traditional equipment is easy to aging and inconvenient to maintain.

3) The joint is beautiful in appearance and does not need surface treatment. The welded surface is scarred and requires surface treatment (grinding, polishing, etc.). Viscose connection is the use of a high strength viscose, the workpiece corrosion is more serious.

4) High connection strength, the quality of the connection point can be detected without damage.

5) Long service life of rivetless connection mold. It was used 100,000 to 300,000 times on average.

6) The process is simple, without prior or post-processing (such as punching, surface treatment).

7) Solve the problem that the traditional process can not connect aluminum, magnesium, titanium and other metal materials.

8) The surface of the workpiece with coating or paint layer will not be damaged, and the multi-layer or laminated material can be connected. Conventional processes destroy the surface coating.
